Door Prizes

As you may know, I’ve been doing guest blog spots here and there to promote my debut novel, The Darcys of Pemberley, giving away several books through those appearances.  I decided it’s high time I do a give-away through my OWN website/blog for my readers and supporters!!!  Wouldn’t you agree?  There will be signed copies of the novel, yes, but since I’ve received so many compliments on the cover art, I’m also looking into making some frame-worthy prints or tee shirts from it!  What do you think of the idea?

Leave me a comment below telling me what noble act you’ve done to qualify (subscribing to this site and/or leaving a review for me at Amazon or Goodreads – you’ll be entered once for each), and what sort of prize you’d like if you’re name is drawn as one of the winners.  Contest closes October 31, and I’ll add more detailed information as it becomes available.  I’ve received so much support from my friends and followers. Now I want to reward your loyalty!

“Perhaps, then, you would bestow it as a reward on that person who wrote the ablest defence of your favourite maxim, that no one can ever be in love more than once in their life.”  (Sense and Sensibility, chapter 17)

Welcome, Emma! Sorry I haven’t given you much to read since you signed up – been on vacation, but back to work soon!

Hi Shannon, love this blog, and such fun, and a wonderful sense of humor, but we knew that of you. Keep smiling, and thanks for the story of Cosco:) I still have to get your book for my mother, I know that she will love it, she lives in Idaho. I too, love your book cover pictures. Great work! Hi to your mom too.

I’ve read three of your novels, I’ve made editorial comments on them, I have your book, although you gave it to me, so that probably doesn’t count. I bought you lunch, but then I bought your brother lunch, too, so that probably doesn’t count either. If I qualify and win, I want a tee shirt 2XL.

Hey, that’s an idea. In addition to selling your book at the next writer’s conference, sell tee shirts, too. Or take orders and do tee shirt PODs.

    Noble acts indeed! Thanks, John.

  6. I’ve subscribed to your blog and I’m looking forward to reading The Darcy’s of Pemberley, Shannon! It is indeed a lovely cover and I really enjoyed the wee snippet I read on your blog ~ poor Mr Collins… Wishing you all the best…

I’m ashamed to say I haven’t read your book that I worked so hard to get yet. smiles..
I’m trying to catch up my genealogy project before my project online expires….what can I say I’ve turned into a procrastinator. I think you should go for the art. I’ve got t-shirts before with great work on them but they aren’t something I keep forever. Just my personal opinion. I hope your giveaway goes well. I’d always take another copy but I’m too late for that.

Hi Suzan! Sorry I didn’t respond your comment right away. I’ve been deluged with spam at this site and didn’t see that there was one gem among the junk. For me at least, it was worth meeting you in person, even if you haven’t had time to read the book you bought that day. I’m so far behind on everything that it’s not difficult for me to understand not having time to do the things you have to do, let alone things you want to do for fun (like read!).
